Easy Tiramisu Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup of heavy cream
1 cup of mascarpone cheese
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of espresso brewed or strong, cooled
2 scoops coffee liqueur (optional)
24 galletas ladyfinger (savoiardi)
Cocoa powder without sugar, for dusting
Instructions:

Prepare the cream mixture:
1️⃣ In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
2️⃣ In another bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
3️⃣ Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated. Step aside.

Prepare your Espresso Blend:
4️⃣ In a shallow dish, combine chilled brewed espresso or strong coffee with coffee liqueur (if used). Moves well to combine.

Assemble the Tiramisu:
5️⃣ Quickly dip each ladyfinger cookie into the espresso mix, ensuring they are soaked but not overly saturated. Arrange a layer of soaked lady fingers on the bottom of an 8×8 inch dish or a similar-sized serving dish.
6️⃣ Spread half of the cream mixture evenly over the layer of soaked ladyfingers.
7️⃣ Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining cream mix.

Kick back and serve:
8️⃣ Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to melt and dessert to set.
9️⃣ Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu generously with sugar-free cocoa powder using a fine mesh sieve.
