Ingredients:
2 cups of white chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup dried cherries, chopped
1/2 cup chopped pecans or chopped pecans (optional)
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1️⃣ Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving a little salty to remove later. Lightly grease the pan lined with cooking spray or butter.
2️⃣ In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
3️⃣ Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, shaking well after each interval, until the white chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Be careful not to overheat or burn the chocolate.
4️⃣ Once the chocolate mixture is smooth, stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
5️⃣ Fold dried chopped cherries and chopped walnuts if used, ensuring they are distributed evenly throughout the sweet mixture.
6️⃣ Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
7️⃣ Optional: Press some extra dried cherries and chopped walnuts on top of the candy for decoration.
8️⃣ Refrigerate the chocolate fudge for at least 2-3 hours or until it is set and firm.
9️⃣ Once the chocolate fudge is ready, use the parchment paper or aluminum foil to lift it from the pan. Place it on a cutting board and cut it into squares or rectangles.
