Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried basil, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Brush each chicken breast with olive oil, then dredge it in the Parmesan mixture, coating both sides evenly. Press the mixture onto the chicken to help it adhere.
- Place the coated chicken breasts onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the Parmesan Crusted Chicken hot with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad. Enjoy!
