Parmesan crustad chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried basil, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Brush each chicken breast with olive oil, then dredge it in the Parmesan mixture, coating both sides evenly. Press the mixture onto the chicken to help it adhere.
  4. Place the coated chicken breasts onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve the Parmesan Crusted Chicken hot with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad. Enjoy!
