Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Let the mixture simmer for about 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the creamy herb garlic sauce over the top.
- Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley, dill, and chives over the salmon fillets.
- Cover the skillet and let the salmon cook in the creamy sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and serve the Creamy Herb Garlic Salmon hot, with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the fish.
- Enjoy your delicious and flavorful salmon dish!
