CREAMY HERB GARLIC SALMON

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in the heavy cream, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Let the mixture simmer for about 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
  6. Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the creamy herb garlic sauce over the top.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley, dill, and chives over the salmon fillets.
  8. Cover the skillet and let the salmon cook in the creamy sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
  9. Remove the skillet from the heat and serve the Creamy Herb Garlic Salmon hot, with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the fish.
  10. Enjoy your delicious and flavorful salmon dish!
