Nutritious Breakfast Cookies

Ingredients:
2 cups of old fashioned oats
1 cup of whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup of honey
1/2 cup puree banana (about 1 large banana)
1 Large Egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (like walnuts or walnuts)
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line up a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine oats, whole wheat flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon and salt. Step aside.


In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and honey until light and fluffy
Whisk in mashed banana, egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
Bend in dried cranberries, chopped walnuts, and mini chocolate chips.
Drop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening each cookie slightly with the back of the spoon.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cookies are golden brown around the edges.
Allow the cookies to cool in the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack for cooling
