Tahini Recipe
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas (mashed)
1/2 cup of honey
1/3 cup of tahini
2 large eggs
1/4 cup of milk (any kind you prefer)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of white sesame seeds
2 Scoops of Sesame Seeds black
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
Instructions:
Preheat your oven:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×5-inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare wet ingredients:
In a large bowl, I mashed the ripe bananas until they are smooth.
Add honey, tahini, eggs and milk to mashed bananas. Remove until well combined and smooth.
Prepare dry ingredients:
In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking soda and salt.
Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures:
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, gently stirring until combined. Don’t mix too much to secure the bread
It keeps it light and fluffy.
Add seed:
Fold in white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds and chia seeds until evenly distributed in the mass
Transfer to Pan:
Pour the dough into the prepared bread. Straighten the top with a spatula.
Baking:
Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and a stick insert in the center comes out clean.
Cool:
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the skillet for about 10 minutes. Then transfer the bread to a wire rack so it cools completely.
Cut and enjoy:
Once the bread is completely fresh, cut it and enjoy!
Tips:
Ripe Bananas: Make sure your bananas are very ripe with brown spots for extra sweetness and moisture.
Stir Tahini Well: Tahini can part ways.
so make sure to shake it well before measuring to incorporate the oil and solids.
Storage: Store banana bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the fridge for up to a week. You can also freeze slices for longer storage.
