JAM COOKIES


Ingredients:
200 grams of butter.
150 grams of sugar.
1 large egg.
300 grams of flour.
500 grams of strawberry jam, pineapple, blackberry or the flavor you desire.
Preparation:

  1. Grease a large tray and preheat the oven to 200°C while preparing the butter cookie dough.
  2. In a container place the egg, butter and sugar. Then mix with the help of a manual or electric mixer according to your availability.
  3. Then add the flour little by little and continue mixing to form a homogeneous mass. Then let it rest for half an hour so the mass can double the volume.
  4. Cut the dough into 10 parts to make tiny balls. Then put them on the tray and make a hole in the middle to add the jam afterwards. If you wish you can help with your fingers.
  5. With the help of a brush, soak all the dough to prevent them from sticking together. Then, in the holes add the desired jam, but prevent it from overflowing. It is important that the jam is not too light, as this will not let you achieve the desired sweet.
  6. Bake the cookies for about 25 minutes or until you see them golden. Then let cool so you can enjoy them with coffee or tea.
