Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
Heat Olive Oil:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Sauté Garlic:
Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Cook Shrimp:
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Add Wine and Lemon Juice:
Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
Mix in Tomato Paste and Spices:
Stir in the tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Simmer:
Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly and the shrimp are fully cooked.
Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
