Cajun Salmon and Shrimp

A bold and spicy Cajun-inspired dish with perfectly seasoned salmon and shrimp, cooked to tender perfection. This meal is quick, flavorful, and sure to impress!

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges for serving
Directions:

Preheat the Oven/Grill:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a grill to medium-high.

Prepare the Ingredients:
Rub the Cajun seasoning evenly over the salmon fillets and shrimp.

Cook the Salmon:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip the fillets and cook for another 4-5 minutes until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

Bake or Grill (Optional):
If using the oven, place the seasoned salmon and shrimp on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.

Finish and Serve:
Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty kick.
