Dr. Pepper Barbecue Sloppy Joes – a sweet and savory twist!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup Dr. Pepper soda
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite kind)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 hamburger buns

Directions:

Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Break up the meat with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

Add Vegetables:
