Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and grease two 8-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar together, then mix in mashed bananas.
- Add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until combined.
- Divide the batter between the pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Once cooled, layer the cakes with caramel sauce, chopped pecans, and whipped cream between them.
