Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
- cup water
- cup salsa con queso
- 3 8-inch flour tortillas or corn tortillas
- 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend or cheddar cheese
- Sour cream for serving
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in the salsa con queso until well combined. Remove from heat.
- Layer the bottom of the greased baking dish with one tortilla, spread a portion of the beef mixture over the tortilla, and sprinkle with shredded cheese. Repeat the layers two more times, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve with sour cream on the side.
