Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced into rounds
- 4-5 medium-sized potatoes, washed and diced into bite-sized pieces
- 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a large baking dish or sheet pan with cooking spray or olive oil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, sliced sausage rounds, dry ranch seasoning mix, olive oil or melted butter, salt, and pepper. Toss until everything is well coated.
- Spread the potato and sausage mixture evenly onto the prepared baking dish or sheet pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown, and the sausage is cooked through.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the potatoes and sausage.
- Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or green onions if desired.
