Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice (about half a lemon)
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Melt Butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until it’s fully liquefied.
Add Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Add Lemon Juice and Seasonings: Stir in the lemon juice, dried parsley or fresh parsley, and red pepper flakes if using. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer: Allow the sauce to simmer for another minute to blend the flavors together.
Serve: Pour the sauce into a small dipping bowl or ramekin.
This garlic butter dipping sauce pairs beautifully with shrimp, crab legs, lobster, and fish. It’s also great with steamed or grilled vegetables!
